Report for Jan-May

The Treasurer's report for January through May shows that the income received to date (end of May) from pledges is at 83.2% of budget projections for that period. This is not alarming but is a reminder to please submit pledge donations as timely as possible. Expenses for the same period are at 81.3% of budget projections.

The investment reporting has been simplified / streamlined so that investment returns of the church's various funds and totals in each account can be more easily accessed and understood. Anyone wishing to review an investment report should contact Ernie Rogers. For January through May the funds collectively earned 4.77%.

There have been no major issues with the church building and grounds, Parsonage or Emmaus House. The winter was kind and thus snow plow expenses were minimal for 2019.

The Finance Committee will be discussing the conducting of the Audit of the 2018 financial records. A recommendation that the audit be conducted by an outside source will be considered. The goal is to conduct the audit in the 3rd quarter of 2019.

The annual fair will be coming up soon. It is a major fundraising source for the church , so hopefully it will be as successful as in past years.
