Power of prayer

The following is a response received from Rev. Norris’ May 25th Church-wide eblast:

Hi,

Since reading this bulletin, this day I have off and on ruminated on the subject of the sermon and this thought came to me……and I want to share once more…..

Upon my cancer diagnosis, I requested our UCC Church pray for me….and at the same period, I also emailed friends around the country and the response from friends of the Mormon, Quaker, Roman Catholic, my Illinois home Church UCC. Together, you all created a Chrysalis in which I exist to this day. In that period I learned to live one day at a time and to remember all is not my will but God's will, for each day is a new beginning filled with gifts of love, beauty and prayer. And once again, I say thank you for the blessings and love received from you, the members of The Federated Church.
