The Federated Church is sponsoring Habitat's 75th home on Cape Cod right here in Orleans.  Church sponsors support the building of a new affordable home through a $50,000 contribution and a committment to partner with the future homeowner and all the many volunteers and staff who are part of this wonderful ministry.  The lot on which the home is being built was also donated by our church, thanks to a generous anonymous donor.  Our church will also give an additional $5,000 that will go to Habitat For Humanity International to support their housing ministry Haiti.

Christina Macort and her daughter, Chloe, will become the new homeowners.  Christina will contribute 250 hours of sweat equity as she joins with Habitat's many volunteers in the construction of her home.

There has been incredible enthusiasm on the part of our members in contributing their time and talents to this wonderful mission project.  Several are working in construction, at the registration table, and in providing food and drinks to all the workers.

You will see in the attached photos that we have many members and friends involved in this wonderful outreach ministry.
